As DB Systemtechnik GmbH, we take responsibility for our work in Germany - but also in all other countries in which we operate. We therefore also expect our suppliers to treat people and the environment with respect as the basis for a reliable partnership.

With the introduction of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), the legislator has created the framework conditions for responsible and sustainable value creation along the entire supply chain. We at DB Systemtechnik GmbH comply with the requirements of the LkSG.

We have set up a complaints procedure to ensure that the LkSG is complied with in our own business area and in the supply chain. Complaints and information on human rights and environmental risks as well as violations of human rights or environmental obligations can be reported there.

The complaints procedure can also be accessed via the adjacent link. Further information can also be found in our rules of procedure.

DB Systemtechnik GmbH publishes policy statement
As Europe's leading service provider in the rail sector for engineering and testing services, we have mastered the technology of the entire rail system and combine classic rail know-how with digital competence. This gives us a special responsibility for people and the environment, which we want to live up to. This is reflected not least in our respectful treatment of our employees and business partners - and through sustainable and transparent supply chains.

With our DB Systemtechnik GmbH policy statement on protecting and respecting human rights, we regularly publicly express our commitment to respecting human rights and complying with our environmental obligations. The aim is to ensure responsible and sustainable value creation along the supply chains.

    We take responsibility
As DB Systemtechnik GmbH, we comply with the obligations under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) to implement human rights and environmental due diligence obligations in our supply chains in an appropriate manner and to establish responsible management of our supply chains. In concrete terms, this means taking responsibility and working as a company for human rights and high environmental and social standards. We also report to the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control on the fulfillment of our due diligence obligations in accordance with the LkSG.

In our declaration of principles, we commit to sustainable and responsible corporate governance and describe the various measures with which we implement our due diligence obligations in accordance with the LkSG. We also address the human rights and environmental issues that are particularly relevant to our business activities and that we have identified as priorities based on our risk analysis. We also set out the expectations we have of ourselves and our OEMs and other business partners to ensure that we fulfill our human rights and environmental obligations.
